Ethan Gutmann

I’m a project scientist at the National Center for Atmospheric Research in sunny Boulder, Colorado.  I have degrees in computer science and geology, and currently specialize in hydrology.  In my free time, I like to climb, hike, bike, and just about anything else outside. Lately that has involved teaching two little boys to do the same.  As you will see here, I often wield a camera, and I used to write articles for Arstechnica.com
